Transcribed painstakingly from the charred remains of the original notes by: David Morgan-Mar

The author writes:

I've put a significant amount of money into Bitcoin, but I've been warned that losing my Bitcoin wallet password will result in irrecoverable loss of my money, and so I should be extremely careful to make sure that I can always find my password if I need it.

I figure what better way than putting it onto the Internet! Of course, I need to obfuscate it so that only I can work out what it is, and nobody else can steal my Bitcoin. But that's easy enough. I just apply a simple cipher and rearrangement scheme that I can easily remember to the publicly visible text string, and I can recover my password at any time.

So, that's why in this comic you see that odd arrangement of characters that looks like a Magic Square in the background. There's no way I can possibly lose my Bitcoin password now!
