Rather than taking the long way around, a man decided to walk along a dirt path that cut through someone else's property. Upon reaching the end, he was stopped by a little girl, who asked him, "Don't you know this is private property?"

"Well, sure," says the man. "But there's a dirt path here, so it's obviously meant for public use."

The little girl answers, "There's a dirt path only because of all the other trespassers who walked there!"
