I received an email from a reader yesterday who asked why it's been so long since I've mentioned cows in the annotations - or, indeed, in the comic. Well, the truth is, about three years ago I entered an intensive treatment program. It took a few months to complete, and when I came out I thought I felt no different. I was even a little mad at the money wasted.

But if it's really been such a long time since I even mentioned them, I guess it worked like a charm! I guess some long-term cow-centred plotlines have been dropped as a result - and, now that I check the forums, it seems people have on occasion wondered about this - but that's a small price to pay for emotional stability, wouldn't you say?
