Strip by: Sir Bacon

Garfield: I must kill something!
Mouse: I declare this house property of the Empire of Mice!
Garfield: Define "empire".

The author writes:

For once I have nothing to say about the strip I'm submitting, so this strip will actually be without an Author's Note. Isn't that novel? An SRoMG by Sir Bacon without inane rambling beneath it! What will they think of next?

To clarify what I'm talking about for those who may not have noticed, I've realised that it's a habit of mine to feel obligated to add something beneath the comic, even when it does nothing to add to the comic itself, or is downright idiotic in hindsight (Batmanfield comes to mind).

I'd say I like the sound of my own voice, except this is entirely text-based, so it's more like I like the sound of my own keyboard, which is possible since it makes a very melodic sound when I type. Also, I've heard recordings of my voice and I actually don't like how it sounds.

So, I decided to not add an author's note the next time I didn't have anything really worthwhile to say about a submission. I figure it's a bad habit and I should really try cutting back. And that's why this comic doesn't have an Author's Note beneath it for once.

...wait a minute.
