Strip by: Rusty Ralston

Jon {running behind Garfield}: ALIENS WHO LOOK LIKE PIGS IN SPACESUITS!
Garfield: This should be interesting
Orson the Alien Pig {dressed in a spacesuit}: Oh, hello, I work with Orson, I heard you have a story you wanna share about Mork!
Garfield {welcoming Orson in}: I do! Come In!
{text next to Garfield reads: "We miss you every day Robin!"}

The author writes:

Alright, so the idea for this strip came from me looking back at SRoMG #1942 and having this very deep sinking feeling that we're approaching the 10th anniversary of Robin Williams' death*. His is significant to me, because it was the first celebrity death that really affected me deeply. At the time, I was 14, and having seen Aladdin, Jumanji, Flubber, Mork & Mindy, and his appearance on Whose Line is it Anyway? growing up, all of which I enjoyed greatly, his death was truly the first real moment of my life that I consider to be sobering. It was out of nowhere too, as I was checking my Twitter timeline on my iPod when I saw a tweet pop up from WBIR, one of the local TV stations in my area, breaking the news that he had passed, and I remember telling my parents, and they were just shocked, as was everybody. I knew that his death had a lot more weight than I knew at the time, and it was honestly one of those events that truly blindsided everybody.

So, I guess I felt like I should commemorate 10 years of being without him by making a small tribute strip, and I figured that the best way to help commemorate him was to make a lame pun. Blame my tendency to mix up names for that one, but at least it gave me an appropriate picture of Orson the Pig, that has a weird hand because the original screenshot featured Orson pushing a cart of stuff, and I couldn't remove the cart well without removing the hand. Oh well, as the strip says, we miss you everyday, Robin. Nanu Nanu!
