Garfield: It's Christmas! Don't blink!
{Unseen person addressed by Garfield in the previous panel closes his eyes}
{Person opens eyes, sees Slenderman}
The author writes:
Grandfather, speaking to his grandchildren from a lounge chair:
Children, remember: One day, you may have a house, a family, many gifts from people who care about you, a cat, and a Christmas tree. And, one day, all of that could be taken away from you in one blink, and, then, you will only have Slenderman. And for the next 2 years, you'll have to get his nails done. And that's the story of why I have never blinked on Christmas Day in 50 years.
