Strip by: Isaac Gantwerk Mayer

{The comic is read from right to left}
Garfield: מָה נִשְׁתַּנָּה יוֹם שֵׁנִי בַּבֹּקֶר מִכׇּל־הַבְּקָרִים? {Roman transliteration: Ma nishtana yom sheni ba-boker mi-kol ha-b'qarim?}
Toaster: !TU⅃ꓭ
Garfield: שֶׁבְּכׇל־הַבְּקָרִים אָנוּ מוֹרְחִים חֶמְאַת בׇּטְנִים אַחֲרֵי קְלִיָּה, הַבֹּקֶר הַזֶּה לְפָנֶיהָ׃ {Roman transliteration: She-b-khol ha-b'qarim anu morḥim ḥem'at boṭnim aḥarei qliyah, ha-boqer ha-zeh l'faneha.}

The author writes:

In the annotation to #3978, Nyperold writes, "I probably made an error somewhere, but if you can tell that, you probably know what I was going for." They thus awoke the obnoxious Hebrew pedant in me. For THIS we left Egypt!? Anyway, I've made a version with more natural grammar, spelled using the Hebrew alphabet, written in the right (to left) direction, and with the third panel translated as well.

Original strip: 1990-06-11.
