The author writes:

Fred Gallagher of MegaTokyo fame has been doing most of his drawing on live video feed for several years now, these days on justin.tv. Appearances from his cat Moofie are an audience favorite. Several months ago the potential similarity with the original Garfield strip struck me and I put this together. I have been meaning to submit it all along, but yesterday (Sep 16, 2015) Moofie passed away, so I am submitting it now as a tribute to him. The title I've given this one is "MegaGarfield" filtered through Japanese phonetics. And yes, Fred has already seen this and enjoyed it.
