This is another strip based on an existing SRoMG submission, #1965. On seeing this the sudden vanishing of Garfield seemed rather abrupt to me and reminded me of the ending of the webcomic Bunny System. As such I made this knockoff, where nothing actually happens to Garfield. (So to speak.)
