Grafield: Hello, I'm a fat, lazy cat!
Garfield: What's your name?
Grafield: Grafield.
Garfield: Wait right here.
Marvin: Big fat hairy deal.
(Billifield)
Catburg: Catburg demands lasagna.
Garfield: Call our laywer.

The author writes:

While browsing around the dates near the glued blender strip, I found this hidden gem, and this was the first thing that came to mind. Considering the amount of Garfield parodies out there, it's amazing that Jim Davis hasn't cried foul over the rather unflattering versions that circulate the net.

I originally wanted to use Heathcliff, but found out he was created before Garfield's first appearance. Despite their similarities, the two cats looked and acted very differently from their early inceptions. The only way he could've reasonably sued would be if they'd gone the HitchHiker's Guide route and gone back in time and manipulated the copyright date, so Jim Davis could rightfully sue George Gately before he ever got the chance to.
