T-Rex: Another bit of superhero movie news...
T-Rex: YAWN!
T-Rex: So many superhero movies nowadays! When will we get a break?
Dromiceiomimus: Did he literally just say 'yawn?'
Utahraptor: Good thing TV's got so much good stuff going on!
T-Rex: But now there's like five or six superhero TV shows, too! It never ends!
T-Rex: Next thing you know, they'll start appearing all over comic books, too!

The author writes:

This year, there are three superhero movies coming out, and somehow this is actually a low number for recent years. Next year, six will be released.

Then, on (American) TV, you have "Gotham," "Agents of SHIELD," "Agent Carter,"* "The Flash," and "Arrow" on broadcast TV, with "Daredevil" and "A.K.A. Jessica Jones" on Netflix streaming (along with three more shows that are in development for the same service). And there might even be more that I'm forgetting!

Yet somehow, I feel like I'm in the minority opinion that maybe this is overkill.

* And yes, I realize that the first three examples I gave actually center on non-supers. My rule is that if you have to make that distinction, you're getting tossed into the "superhero" genre anyway.
