Delkin: What happened, Holly?
SFX: Trip {Holly, without glasses, trips over}
Holly: Amb took my glasses!
SFX: Stumble {(she stumbles, Delkin races to catch her}
Delkin: {catching her} But why?
Holly: It's for his mad scientist course.

The author writes:

Jive Swede wrote on the forums: The Eat Poop You Owls thread reminded me of a similar project I participated in a few years back (credited as Egak;), which I wish to bring to LMoO. The rules are as follows:

1. Five artists each make a four panel comic and send it to a referee (me, in this case).
2. The referee removes the first panel from each comic and sends each incomplete panel to another of the five artists.
3. The artists fill in the missing panels and send the refinished comics back.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the second, third, and fourth panels.
5. The referee posts the source and final comics for comparison.

This comic is the first original comic in this project, drawn by Dliessmgg. The next comic on Lightning Made of Owls will be the result of four other artists replacing each panel of this strip, one at a time. And over the next few weeks we'll be seeing the originals by the other four artists, and the results of their replacements.
