The author writes:

I created this xkcd comic edit a few months before I submitted it to DMM's inbox. I intended to post it on the xkcd forums so it could appear on the edit site Making XKCD Slightly Worse, but xkcdsw.com's domain had expired by then. So I forgot about the strip, but I still browsed the forums now and then. And then, the How To release date 503 happened. Eventually, I remembered that I made this comic, and now it's right here on iToons. I guess that this site could be the new xkcdsw for xkcd edits.
