T-Rex: Teaching the controversy: Pavlova...
T-Rex: AUSSIE or KIWI??
T-Rex: If pavlova was Aussie, it'd have beetroot and a fried egg on it. But if it was Kiwi it'd have feathers and lay an egg as big as itself!
Utahraptor: But beetroot and fried egg on burgers is a Kiwi thing!
{beat}
T-Rex: Okay, fine. You can have pavlova.
T-Rex: But you also have to take Russell Crowe!!

The author writes:

One of the greatest sources of argument between Australians and New Zealanders is the origin of the pavlova. Just read through the two (as of today) pages of argument on the talk pages for Wikipedia's article.

I have to say, this is one of the lamest cultural wars ever. Can we just agree to eat it?

Mmmm.... sweet....
