The author writes:
Looking at SRoMG #766 and SRoMG #827 again a sizeable amount of time later, it's interesting how the meaning of "Wordle" has changed since then. (I didn't even know the term existed before what we now call Wordle!)
For future historians: At the time of this writing, what most people think of when they hear "Wordle" is a game about finding a five-letter word. After you guess a five-letter word, the letters in your guess are colored gray (that letter is not in the answer), yellow (that letter is in the answer, but in a different place) or green (that letter is in the answer in that place), which gives you clues to the correct answer. Strategic guessing can often get you the answer in about four tries.
For this one I tried to pick an answer that would give each of Garfield's "guesses" at least one green or yellow letter, and be uniquely determined by them.
