Garfield: Hi, there. I'm Garfield. I'm a cat, and this is my cartoonist, Jon.
Jon: Our only thought is to entertain you.
Garfield: Feed me.

The author writes:

This was based on a personal shenanigan where I was Skypeing with a close friend and I was putting googly eyes over their old art they disliked. As a net result, Googly eyes over things has become a sort of in-joke between my friends... This is me adapting googly eyes to Square Root of Minus Garfield.
