- Elevator Pitch: Reggie must escape the evil spirits that have hunted down her entire family, and finds herself ensared in a web of fanatical cultists who want her unborn child.
- Comments:
- I like this one. I can't think of anything else at the moment. Then again, I'm distracted by the Cheddar Monk academy. -Panpear
- I like it too! Let's do it! --AnnieFan
- Ok! I vote for this one. Now everyone who is still paying attention to this should go watch the movie by the end of the month, so we can start plotting. I'm sure that will give everyone enough time to do that... *cough*maybenotbecauseIprocrastinate*cough* -Panpear 19:41, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- Awesome. I'll try and get the remainder of the movie screencapped in the summary style over the Christmas period too, so the full thing is there for reference. -Dmmaus 07:14, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Characterizations
List of characters, their roles/relationships in the film, and what their roles/relationships should be in the film.
REGGIE
In the film, REGGIE is married to CHARLES, who dies at the start. She is caught in the middle of a plot for CHARLES' missing money. She flirts and falls in love with PETER. She is friendly with SYLVIE and JEAN-LOUIS. She is seen with TEX, GIDEON, and SCOBIE though she is frightened of them.
In our supernatural thriller:
- I haven't watched the movie (yet), but would it be possible to play her as a gritty detective type? I'm not sure if her facial expressions would work for that though. --Panpear 01:43, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
- That's probably a bit of a stretch. She screams a lot. -Dmmaus 05:30, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- Just finished watching it. She does scream a lot. -Panpear
- How about we make it a running gag that she screams at everything? -Taneb
- Maybe. Or one where she says "I'm scared" but she doesn't look scared at all. Oh wait she already does that. -Panpear 16:13, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
PETER
In the film PETER, also known as lots of other names, spends time as the romantic interest of REGGIE. He protects her throughout, even if she runs away from him a few times.
In our supernatural thriller:
- Could we characterise him as a recurring villain? Would that even be possible?Taneb
- He's incredibly lovey dovey with REGGIE. Even in the few times she's scared of him and runs away from him, she recovers wonderfully and starts kissing him again. -Panpear 17:32, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- How about he's the leader of the cult who wishes to protect REGGIE's child. He doesn't want to reveal his true magical nature in case that scare REGGIE off. He has a tendency to get possessed by ghosts (or he can hear spirits of the dead). -Panpear 17:32, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
MR. BARTHOLOMEW
In the film, Bartholomew is a supposed CIA agent trying to recover the money. REGGIE meets with him once near the start, and then they talk by phone. In the end, he chases her during a shoot out.
GIDEON
In the film GIDEON is one of the three after the money. He threatens REGGIE at some point of time in the movie.
TEX
In the film, TEX is one of the three after the money. He threatens REGGIE (with matches of all things- why didn't she blow the first two out?)
SCOBIE
In the film, SCOBIE is one of the three after the money. He threatens REGGIE, and fights with PETER more than once. He has a claw for a hand- creepy!
SYLVIE
JEAN-LOUIS
INSPECTOR GRANDPIERRE
In the film he's the poor police inspector who has to deal with the repeated dead bodies around the place. He is left in the dark about the details of the quarter million dollar plot.
