Scene 1

Chapter 2, Scene 1
  • Pan across a ski field.
  • Pull back revealing a beautiful woman, REGGIE, eating at a table, apparently alone.
  • Pull back revealing exterior ski resort cafe.
  • Pull back further, revealing a mysterious arm with a gun, pointed at REGGIE.
  • Multiple intercuts between gun and REGGIE, oblivious.
  • The gun fires... water!
  • REGGIE is sprayed in the face with the water pistol.
  • Reveal the gun is carried by JEAN-LOUIS, a young boy.
  • Brief exchange of words between REGGIE and JEAN-LOUIS.
  • SYLVIE appears from behind umbrella. She sits with REGGIE.
  • Conversation with intercuts between REGGIE and SYLVIE.
  • REGGIE gets up and leaves the table, taking a chicken leg with her.


Scene 2

Chapter 2, Scene 2
  • REGGIE walks past an indoor pool, eating the chicken leg, followed by SYLVIE.
  • They stop to talk for a bit.
  • They walk outside, still talking.
  • They find a table outside the indoor pool and sit.
  • REGGIE looks up and sees JEAN-LOUIS in the company of a man (PETER).
  • SYLVIE puts her arm around JEAN-LOUIS while REGGIE and PETER exchange banter. REGGIE smiling.
  • SYLVIE gets a hint and escorts JEAN-LOUIS away, leaving REGGIE and PETER alone.
  • JEAN-LOUIS turns as he leaves and shoots PETER in the face with the water pistol.
  • Long conversation between PETER and REGGIE, as he wipes his face dry. Many intercuts between the two (not shown in image).


Scene 3

Chapter 2, Scene 3
  • A taxi drives into an apartment parking area in Paris.
  • The driver gets out to get REGGIE's bags, then REGGIE gets out.
  • SYLVIE and JEAN-LOUIS remain in the taxi and exchange farewells with REGGIE. Several sentences exchanged with intercut shots.
  • REGGIE walks into the building, followed by the taxi driver carrying her bags.
