Recovered from the browser cache of: Neil Tarrant

The author writes:

I was very tempted to permanently split my strip into two different continuities here - everyone reading the strip on an odd IP address would end up in the Universe with the "evil" Blackdrip, while anyone logging in from an even IP address would continue in the Universe with the "standard" Blackdrip.

The only problem came when I saw the results of the recent survey, which suggested that at least 97% of my readers (or at least those who vote in the polls) read the comic from at least two different locations, so may well end up getting an even more disjointed comic than they currently do!

[EDIT: Someone pointed out on the forums that as my poll software only counts a single vote from every IP address, it's quite likely that the people who read from multiple places were voting twice (or more!) so the figure may well be far below this. I can't believe I didn't spot that one!]

Of course the fact that it would have doubled my comic creation workload didn't come into this decision at all (wink!).
