Quoted from an email originally sent to: David Morgan-Mar

The author writes:

I'm branching out into new and experimental forms of art here.

As usual, the original artwork for this strip is for sale on the shop site.

Normally strips are unframed, but as this one is clearly so groundbreaking, it comes pre-framed in an ornate but tasteful gilded wooden frame. I predict this one will be in high demand by collectors, so head to the shop now and buy it before someone else does!

EDIT, 2 weeks later: Little did the buyer, PostcardFan_135, realise that the above-mentioned ornate wooden frame had a built-in shredding mechanism. Thirty seconds after hanging this original artwork on her wall, the frame activated, sucking the canvas through and shredding it!

Unfortunately, PostcardFan_135 wasn't videoing the comic on her wall when the shredder activated, so there's no real evidence of it having happened. If only she'd captured it on video, perhaps more people would have noticed my experimental performance artwork, and she might have been able to cash in by selling the video to news sources. Instead she's down $400 and nobody even knows that I did this (except now for you readers of this comic).

Oh well. Such are the sacrifices we make in the name of art.
