The author writes:

I'm not verry pruod of this stip. Wy? Lok at alll the speling erors my artits made.

Note from the artist: As opposed to your annotation. It has just as many.

Author: That was intended as a joke.

Artist: Well, mine were too. So, there!

Author: WHAT?!? You. Are. Fired!!!!

Artist: You really think that punctuating for emphasis is going to scare me? You can't fire me anyway, I'm not paid for this lowbrow job.

Author: Lowbrow? LOWBROW?!? You think working on a long, continuous storyline in a very long-running webcomic is lowbrow?

Artist: That's it, I quit!

Author: But who will illustrate my strips?

Artist: Your strips? YOUR strips? All you do is write the transcripts! I have to illustrate the darn things! It's not easy drawing a mysterious woman who only appears in the background, a can of tuna, or a stinkin' cow every other strip, you know!

Author: Well, get your dang {censored} out of my face because I quit, too.

Artist: FINE BY ME!!!!!!

Post-publication author's notes: Obviously, we were in a bad mood when we wrote that annotation.
