Ambrose: After a few days' journey you arrive at your post, high in the mountains, guarding a narrow pass.
Oliver: {IC} Wait! What, no random encounters along the way?
Ambrose: No, the journey is uneventful.
Oliver: How do you know?
Ambrose: I'm the GM. I know all.
Oliver: You didn't even roll. Didn't even consult a table!
Ambrose: I don't need to roll! I decided!
Oliver: It can't be a "random" encounter if you just "decide" it didn't happen!
Ambrose: Fine!
SFX: *ROLL*
Szedrik(NPC): Our journey was uneventful.
Oliver: {IC} Phew! Lucky!

The author writes:

ometimes the figures face the light too much, and end up looking too pale. The thinning hair bear in the background is an example of this. Canonically, the Garnim change skin colour depending on the location of the sun. This makes racism difficult, or at least, harder, based on the time of day.
