Samantha: {replaces Oliver on screen} Thank you, Oliver. The crime spree of clothes line robberies seems to be at an end. Police have identified the culprit as Bruce Banner.

Clothes dryers really started to take off in the United States in the warmer climates around 1965. However, for some reason, Bruce Banner was able to still find a ready supply of clothes lines between 1978 and 1982, when The Incredible Hulk aired on TV. My guess is that Bruce Banner was secretly working for G.E.
