Strip by: Lubaf
{Garfield is standing in front a chipmunk on a tree stump. The stump has a mouth on it.
Chipmunk: Hi, I'm a plump little chipmunk!
{Tentacles approach Garfield from behind and below.}
Chipmunk: Would you like to play?
{Garfield turns around, suspiciously; the tentacle behind him pulls back quickly, while the one below begins to complete its attempt to lock down his legs}
Chipmunk: I like to roll in mustard!
Garfield: Is this a sting operation?
The author writes:
For the uninitiated: The monster in question is the wolf-in-sheep's-clothing, widely cited as one of the lamest creatures in the Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manuals. (Yes, it was a basically a carnivorous tree stump with a (fake) rabbit on it. The Advanced Dungeons & Dragons era had some very odd monsters indeed.)
