T-Rex: Once, there were two hunters...
Text: A FABLE
T-Rex: One relied on his wits to find his prey, while the other laid traps filled with goodies the animals liked to eat.
T-Rex: One day—
Utahraptor: Hold it!
Utahraptor: If this is a build-up to a stupid pun, just get on with it!
T-Rex: Fine. "Good things come to those who bait." Happy now?

The author writes:

Looking back at some of my comics, it's hard to remember whether I wrote it with a punchline in mind, or if I just found one along the way. (Might this overanalysis be why I'm not submitting as many comics as I used to? It may be!) This one, obviously, had the destination in mind all along.
