T-Rex: Don't stir your pot widdershins... it's the stirring direction...
T-Rex: OF THE DEVIL!
T-Rex: Traditionally witches stirred their brews widdershins, or anticlockwise. Because it's evil.
Utahraptor: Is it evil in the southern hemisphere?
Utahraptor: Or is clockwise the evil stirring direction there?
T-Rex: The Coriolis Effect doesn't work that way!
T-Rex: This is SCIENCE, you fool!

The author writes:

It's quite amazing how often I get asked by people from the northern hemisphere about the direction that water swirls when draining from a sink or tub here (i.e. in the southern hemisphere, where I live). For the record: Snopes on the Coriolis effect.
